PIRAN

Piran is a Venetian town (narrow, limestone streets around a harbour) on the short 34 km coastline of Slovenia. We swam the Adriatic sea, fresh and rocky, while watching the bell tower from the water. Those were the days.

Actually I have to admit that I was surprised to see what a beautiful (although very short)coast we have. Piran is a typical Mediterranean village where the globalisation has not left its mark.

Very nice this village... the sunset near the tower, the color of the sea, the walls...
It fits perfectly with the idea I had about Adriatic...

Just a my camera run out of batteries in the sunset. But it was also some kind of relief not having to take pictures, just enjoy the view with my own glasses.

By the way: Croats, give us back our Slovene coast!
