Bled lake and its small churched island is the postcard of Slovenia. A bit further up is Bohinj lake. The place is a bit too touristic, but nevertheless worth a visit.

I would say that those who love nature should maybe visit Bohinjsko jezero. A bit more authentic and the colour of the lake is marvelus.
I preferred Bled jezero... Turistic but very, very nice if you can avoid to pay the fee for the entrance to the castle...
..which is not less than 5 euros. But we found the view on the back of the place.
We will to have swim to the island in the picture any other day.
